Hi and thanks for visiting us at the football travel guide. If you have made it this far then you are obviously keen to know who we are and why we have developed this website... and, probably, are we even football fans! So we will try and answer those questions right here.
Editor is a fan... a suffering Norwich City supporter
This website is run by the Beach Hut Studio team but I am the Editor and main contibutor to the website and I can confirm that I am a genuine football fan. In fact I am a membership card holder and shareholder (a very small shareholding that must have purchased Darren Huckerby's right toe at the time) of Norwich City Football Club.
Over the last few years I, along with many others, have had the grim pleasure of watching the Canaries sliding through the Divisions from the heady height of the Premiership. As a City fan that is exiled on the South Coast that's quite a few away grounds each season and in 2009/10 a whole new set will be due.
Why a football travel website
So rather than succumb to the depression, I decided to put that experience to good use and put all the information I usually need about visiting new football grounds in one, convenient place.
So here it is. It is a work in progress, we hope you like it. If we have got something wrong that you would like to correct, or some extra information that will help me and other travellers to your club, drop us a line and we will do our best to include it.
In the meantime, we look forward to seeing you around one of the UK's many great footballing arena's.
