The Carling Cup has had many names over the years from the 'Milk Cup' to the 'Coca Cola Cup' but its pre sponsor name was the most accurate definition of the competition - simply the League Cup.
Whether you are following your team home or away in the Carling Cup you will find all the hotel, flights and travel information you need through the football travel guide.
The Carling Cup is a straight knock out competition for all of the 92 football league clubs. Last season Manchester United beat the holders Tottenham Hotspur 4-1 on penalties in the final at Wembley.
